2022 General Election Information
*You must present a valid photo ID to vote*
Absentee Voting
The Absentee Portal opens September 24 and closes October 25 at 11:59 pm. Visit govote.ky.org or call the County Clerk’s office to request a mail in absentee ballot.
In Person Absentee voting
October 26 thru November 2 during normal business hours. You must have a valid excuse for these voting days.
Early Voting
Thursday, November 2 thru Saturday, November 5, 8:30-4:30 in the County Clerk’s office. You DO NOT need an excuse to vote early on these days.
Election Day
Tuesday, November 8. Polls will be open 6 am – 6 pm at your polling location.
Note:
- On Election Day, the McCracken County Clerk’s Office will serve as a Voting Center for the entire county. Anyone registered to vote in McCracken County can vote in the Clerk’s office.

- The last day to register to vote in the 2022 General Election is Tuesday, October 11 at 4 pm.
